Picnic Lakes are a pair of picturesque alpine lakes that straddle the Picnic Lakes Trail within the Jewel Basin Hiking Area in Montana's Flathead National Forest. Situated at an elevation of approximately 6,644 feet, these lakes are nestled below Mount Aeneas near the junction of the Picnic Lakes Trail with the Mount Aeneas trail. They are known for their clear waters, surrounding subalpine meadows, and great views of the surrounding peaks.

The Smith-Little Salmon Trail is trail number 29. It connects the Swan Range with the Bob Marshall Wilderness via Smith Creek Pass. The trail runs along the banks of the river.

The view along the trail is stunning and the lake is no less impressive. An excellent destination for a day hike.

If you want to reach a heavenly place, Birch Lake is the perfect destination. The route is easy, with no very steep climbs.

Morrell Falls is a spectacle of nature. You can easily reach them on foot and the spectacle is breathtaking. Before the waterfalls there is the Morrell Lake where you can stop for a packed lunch on the way back.

Holland Lake is located in the Flathead National Forest. It's the perfect place to spend quality time in nature. Many hiking trails start here and reach other lakes. Otherwise, you can do various outdoor activities staying here.
