- former site of the pilgrimage church "Unserer lieben Froun Zinßbach"
- in the Middle Ages, a hiking trail ran at this junction of the Katzensteg from Grömbach to Pfalzgrafenweiler and was the site of the Zinsbach chapel with an inn and parsonage
- 2005 to 2006 the square was established through the efforts of the Schwarzwaldverein Pfalzgrafenweiler
- 2006: donation of a statue of "Saint James" by the artist Duchess Diane von Württemberg. The statue can be viewed in the Evangelical Church of St. James in Pfalzgrafenweiler.
- 2009 expansion with the bell tower
