We hadn't done this tour for a long time. It was very nice again. The weather was perfect. Including the walk to the train station and back, it was 88 km. We did it and we're proud!

With the €49 ticket we set off early to Schwalmstadt-Treysa and from there we cycled along the Rotkäppchen cycle path to Bad Hersfeld. When we got off we noticed that it was starting to rain lightly. Since we had our rain gear with us for such cases, we set off, but didn't have to put it on.

Great track cycle path that climbs gently for the first 31 km (including the short detours in Treysa, Ziegenhain and Neukirchen).
