From the top you have a wonderful view of the South Tyrolean mountains. For the ascent to the Rammelstein, I recommend the route from the Gönneralm.

It's simply great and terrific of the landowners that you can ride your bike here in the capercaillie sanctuary without penalty! Unfortunately no capercaillies were seen and no marmots were heard whistling either!
