Special features The Marienplatz in Wasserburg a.Inn is one of the central squares in the small town on the Inn-Salzach, is ideal for strolling or drinking coffee and is a popular meeting place for cyclists and bikers. At the center of the market square is the cast-iron Marienbrunnen, which is surrounded by the Frauenkirche, the town hall and the surrounding old town houses with their arcades. Filming location explorer Wasserburg and in particular the Marienplatz with the town hall and the Frauenkirche is a popular filming location for numerous films and television series. Scenes in the television series "Ärzte Dr. Schwarz und Dr. Martin" (1993 - 1999) and in the children's films "TKKG" and "Herr Bello" were filmed at the Marienplatz.

Probably THE entrance to the city ever. As soon as you walk through, you will be amazed by the city with its old and attractive buildings.

The calm and the view

Large bathing beach with adjacent sunbathing area. Unfortunately often very crowded in midsummer.

In the summer a very nice place to go swimming.
