The Tampa Museum of Art, founded in 1920, is a cultural hub in downtown Tampa. With over a century of artistic achievement, it features a significant collection of Greek and Roman antiquities—one of the largest in the southeastern United States—as well as diverse modern and contemporary artworks, including sculpture and photography.

The Tampa River Walk connects several downtown, parks, museums and attractions. It's fully paved, but is very popular, so make sure you are respectful of other trail users.

The bridge on the Courtney Campbell Causeway is about a third of the way across the bay (when biking from the east). It's nice to not be right next to the road for a little while.

The path along Bayshore Boulevard is a really popular trail for walking, running, and biking. There are sections that are right alongside the road, but the trail gets a decent distance away from the road at times, too. This is a flat trail with multiple parking locations. Note that you'll need to ride slower and be aware of other trail users if you decide to stick to the paved path. You can also ride on the road in a designated bike lane, which seems to be the more popular option for road cyclists and people trying to ride quicker.
