The "Mönchsteichtrail" is part of the "Trailpark L.E.", a non-public network of MTB trails south-west of Lutherstadt Eisleben. Use of the trails is at your own risk.
Please note the following behavior:
Don't leave trash in the forest.
Do not make unnecessary noise, especially near settlements.
Treat other users (e.g. hikers) with respect, be polite and let them go first.
Respect nature.
With this you contribute to the maintenance of the trail park.

Currently not usable because there are at least 10 trees lying across the trail.

You can take a nice short break at the Mönchsteich before continuing on the narrow path through the forest.
The trail seems to be regularly maintained. All fallen trees on the path have been cleared, so it's very easy to get through (a bit bumpy 😅).
