On the fish ladder, a nice group of seats was created, which is also wonderfully in the shade in summer. Nearby are the crystal clear springs that feed the Trostäster fish farms. The access from the north side is a bit bumpy over concrete slabs, but bearable. If that were still the case, I would recommend moving the Werra Valley Cycle Path from the local connecting road Reurieth - Trostadt here - definitely the more beautiful landscape and far away from the roads.

Very nice trail / path along the Werra between Reurieth and Trostadt. Seating area invites you to take a relaxed break. A stop at the Klostermühle in Trostadt is highly recommended.
