Edwin, I've been drinking water from that spring for over 30 years. In fact, all of us in Berriz drink water from the springs in Oiz. I'd say it's some of the best water you can drink in the Basque Country, hehe.

Located in the Duranguesado region, the town of Ermua is known for its rich history and its beautiful natural landscape. Here you can enjoy the local gastronomy. The town's name may come from the Basque term Emuas, which means border area or terrain, due to its location on the dividing line between the provinces of Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa.

There is a fountain here and the views are quite good of the valley below. I'm not sure if the water is drinkable. It probably is, but I'm not sure I'd risk it.

Ermua is a medieval town located on the border between Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa. Located in the narrow valley of the Ego River and surrounded by mountains, this town has an interesting historical heritage, among which several palaces stand out.

The Aixola reservoir is located between the provinces of Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa. It is surrounded by a beautiful landscape made up of shady pine, oak and beech forests.

From the dam you have beautiful views in both directions. Looking at the lake and the mountains behind it is very nice, but looking into the small valley is also nice.

The path around the lake is very nice. In this place you will find beautiful views of the lake and a small fountain that almost always has water.
