The most important Cultural Center of the city (Kulturni Centar Pančeva) is located in the former theater building of the city, founded in 1947 and named National Theater which realized play productions in cooperation with National Theater Novi Sad. In 1956, the political authorities of the town decided the creation of a cultural center which is representing variety of all Arts. The center has a gallery of Modern art, and it promotes continuous festivals like Biennial of Art (Bijenale umetnosti), the music festival Ethno.com and the Pančevački Jazz Festival with artists from all over the world. http://kulturnicentarpanceva.rs

Quaint recreational boat docks along both sides of the water. Large meadows with some trees and a seating areas for picnic breaks.

Pančevo is an important industrial city and the center of Serbian petrochemicals. Next to NIS is a large Gazprom plant. The Messer Group (technical gas, based in Germany) has a plant opposite. Photography is prohibited at NIS, Gazprom, etc.

The cemetery was established in 1888 and moved to its present location in 1925. In addition to the Sephardic cemetery, there is an Ashkenazi cemetery in Belgrade, which is now part of the New Cemetery.

To the right of the entrance to the Sephardic cemetery is a memorial to the Serbian Jewish soldiers who died in the Balkan Wars (1912/13) and World War I. The monument was erected in 1927.

The Cemetery of the Liberators of Belgrade is located opposite the New Cemetery and right next to the Sephardic Cemetery. The cemetery was established in 1954 and includes the graves of soldiers from the National Liberation Army and the Red Army.

The New Belgrade Cemetery was built in 1886 as the first planned urban cemetery in Serbia. Since the end of World War I, members of denominations other than the Serbian Orthodox Church have also been buried. In addition to a section for Russian emigrants, there are also war graves.
